Clean Room & Assembly Workshop

Etteplan’s laboratory in Son en Breugel, the Netherlands provides technical application development and troubleshooting in our key technologies: Bonding, Dispensing, Welding and Assembly. Our laboratory offers a range of services, feasibility testing, extended application development, process development, process qualification and on-site assistance and troubleshooting.

Our lab is equipped with a range of bonding, dispensing, welding, manual to automated assembly tools.

Cleanroom

We assemble components and groups of components with high demands of low particle emission under cleanroom conditions. Etteplan has a state-of-the-art cleanroom in which assemblies are assembled by our trained cleanroom assembly specialists. By means of particle measurements according to ISO standards. We are able to test single components prior to assembly and the final assembly prior to shipment as well.

Etteplan has also a state-of-the-art workshop in which production tools and automated production tools are assembled by our trained assembly specialists. Tools and automated production tools are tested and qualified prior to shipment.

DISCOVER MORE ABOUT OUR BREAKTHROUGH

The cycle time of our Indigo platform enables high accuracy on a micro-scale and ultrafast alignment of two small optical elements during the packaging process. Indigo can deliver a packaged product – active alignment and fiber termination included – in just under 30 seconds. By altering small details on our – already existing – modular machine platform, we turned it into a breakthrough in photonics assembly speed.
