Komatsu

Komatsu Germany in Düsseldorf develops, manufactures and markets super large hydraulic excavators throughout the world.

Each excavator is tailored to the customer’s needs, which sets special requirements on both the equipment manufacturer and the author of the technical documentation.

Etteplan provides Komatsu with service manuals required for excavator servicing and maintenance, or parts thereof, such as “Troubleshooting” or “Dismantling and assembly of the machine” for field service use.

Etteplan also draws up Komatsu service’s technical newsletters for the company’s dealers and service and maintenance personnel worldwide. The newsletters contain information about technical innovations and changes related to, for example, repairs and spare part details or components.

The technical documentation material is produced in close collaboration with Komatsu’s technical experts. The documents are written in English, and Etteplan provides translation services for the different language versions as required.
