The IoT system enables the efficient use of charging stations. The mobile web application allows the user to start, stop and pay for the charging. Backend scalability is crucial, as EVs and charging stations get more commonplace. The AWS cloud solution designed by Etteplan MORE keeps fixed costs under control while being able to react to large fluctuations in usage. The backend system uses AWS IoT Core to communicate to the rapid charging stations. EV drivers want to be able to charge their cars quickly. For instance, while making a stop for food during a journey. Drivers need the payment to be easy, convenient and naturally - safe.
